Hello, I’m Angela Moore and I run a small PR company in Southern California. I love working for myself, which I never thought possible since I am a total social butterfly. I worked most of my career in the music industry and I knew I’d never get rich doing that (well, it took me a long time to figure out, but I did) so I took a leap of faith in 2003 and started my own consulting business.
It’s been terrific and every year is better than the last, plus I still love coming to work! This blog is so much fun for me because I love to write and I spend most of my days writing on behalf of other people, so the personal outlet is great. Plus I know there are other small biz owners out there who need to be talked off their own ledge just as often as me.
I appreciate your comments, but let’s be honest, we are not trying to cure cancer here – just hoping to put a little humor into small biz.

Great blog! I too just took the leap to being my own boss, (well almost, still have a part time gig) Anyways, always inspiring to hear other people who made the leap as well, I wish you the best in your ventures.
